Minicoy is located approximately 400 km off the coast of Kochi. It is one of the 36 small islets which form part of Lakshadweep group of islands. Minicoy is famous for coral reefs and white sand beaches amidst vast expanse of Arabian sea.
Minicoy is one of the few inhabited islands in Lakshadweep and it is the second largest there. It is best known for tranquillity due to its location as it is far away from mainland.
